Rebirth
A wind arising,
A shudder in the trees
As if the world exhaling
A tremble of the leaves.
And all the time the tempest
Rocks the grey-worn skies,
The barren bleak of winter
Retreating as Spring comes alive.
Life is breaking through
The sodden, warming earth
Yellow sparks of hope in bloom
The year igniting in…
